Seize computers, phones, and other records.
On Wednesday, federal agents raided Rudy Giuliani’s home and office in Manhattan. The former attorney for President Trump had computers, cellphones, and other documents confiscated by the agents. While allegations have been made that he failed to register as a foreign agent for his work in Ukraine, no charges have been brought against Mr. Giuliani.
A statement released by Mr. Giuliani’s lawyer Robert Costello said, “Mr. Giuliani respects the law, and he can demonstrate that his conduct as a lawyer and a citizen was absolutely legal and ethical.” Former President Trump also took the opportunity to support the former mayor of New York, stating, “it is so terrible when you see things that are going on in our country with the corruption and the problems and then they go after Rudy Giuliani.”
